Abstract
The invention relates to the use of microgels for modifying the temperature behavior of non-crosslinkable organic media, in particular in high temperature applications at least about 100° C., for example in engine oils, gear oils, etc.
Claims31
Use of crosslinked microgels (B) as additive for non-crosslinkable organic media (A) for use at temperatures of at least 100° C.
Use of crosslinked microgels (B) as additive for modifying the temperature-dependent behavior of non-crosslinkable organic media (A).
Use of crosslinked microgels (B) as additive in non-crosslinkable organic media (A) that are selected from the group consisting of:
- engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, turbine oils, compressor oils, industrial oils, metal-working fluids and chainsaw oils.
