Abstract
Silicon-containing compounds having selective COX-2 inhibitory activity, as well as compositions thereof are provided. The subject compounds find use in a variety of applications, including therapeutic applications. Also provided are kits containing the subject compounds and pharmaceutical preparations thereof.

A silicon-containing compound having selective COX-2 inhibitor activity.
A method of treating a condition in a subject, said method comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a silicon containing compound having COX-2 inhibitory activity.
A composition comprising a silicon-containing compound having COX-2 inhibitory activity in a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
A kit comprising:
- a silicon-containing compound having COX-2 inhibitory activity;
- and
- instructions of using said compound.
