Abstract
A drive system for a machine, in particular a weaving machine, is designed in a manner such that controlled electric power is applied to a drive motor (2) as a function of particular angular positions and such that power applied to the motor is interrupted during phases of increasing angular speed.
Claims11
A method for driving a machine including at least one periodically moving part and a rotary electric drive motor which is electrically powered in relation to a respective angular position, comprising:
- considerably reducing or interrupting application of electrical power to the drive motor in phases of increasing angular speed.
A drive system for a machine comprising at least one periodically moving part and including an electric drive motor which is electrically powered by means of a control unit as a function of a respective angular position, wherein the control unit comprises devices detecting phases of increasing angular speed and devices to substantially reduce or interrupt the applied power within said phases.
