System, method, and device for providing communications using a distributed mobile architecture

A device for providing a communication path between two or more wireless telephones via one or more wireless transceivers, the device comprising:

• a base;
• a lid coupled to the base;
• and
• a display incorporated into the lid.

A device for providing a communication path between two or more wireless telephones via one or more wireless transceivers, the device comprising:

• a housing;
• a mobile switching center module within the housing;
• and
• a base station controller module within the housing.

A method for deploying a distributed management architecture server, the method comprising:

• establishing a direct physical connection between the distributed management architecture server and a base transceiver station;
• activating the distributed management architecture server;
• and
• establishing a network connection with respect to the distributed management architecture server.

A communication system, comprising:

• at least one non land-based vehicle;
• at least one satellite transceiver deployed within the at least one non land-based vehicle;
• at least one base transceiver station deployed within the at least one non land-based vehicle;
• and
• at least one distributed mobile architecture server coupled to the base transceiver station and coupled to the satellite transceiver, wherein the distributed mobile architecture server includes a mobile switching center module and a base station controller module disposed within the same housing.
