Abstract
The present invention provides methods for using NFκB decoys to regulate (suppress) transcription activated by NFκB, and to suppress neointimal formation in grafts. Furthermore, the present invention relates to agents for protection from intimal thickening in vascular grafts that comprise NFκB decoys.
Claims8
A method for regulating transcription activated by the transcription factor NFκB in a part of a blood vessel or vascular graft, wherein the method comprises the step of contacting the graft with a decoy for the transcription factor NFκB.
An agent for protection from intimal thickening in a vascular graft, wherein the agent comprises an NFκB decoy.
The agent for protection of claim, wherein the agent is for introducing an NFκB decoy into a vessel or vascular graft using a pressure-mediated method.
