Abstract
An image display apparatus includes an image input unit which inputs an image from an image capturing device, a display control unit which displays an identification for identifying the input image or its input destination, and keeps the identification without canceling even when an operation is performed for another image after inputting the image, and a canceling unit which cancels the identification when a predetermined operation other than the operation for another image is performed.

An image display apparatus comprising:
- an image input unit adapted to input an image from an image capturing device;
- and
- a display control unit adapted to display an identification for identifying the input image or an input destination of the image, and keep the identification without canceling even when an operation is performed for another image after inputting the image,
- a canceling unit adapted to cancel the identification when a predetermined operation other than the operation for said another image is performed.
