Abstract
A carton includes display patterns that allow containers and other articles to be displayed at an exterior of the carton.
Claims30
A blank for forming a carton, comprising:
- a first side panel;
- a top panel;
- a second side panel;
- a bottom panel;
- at least one first end flap extending along a first marginal area of the blank;
- at least one second end flap extending along a second marginal area of the blank;
- and
- at least one first display pattern extending through at least the top panel and the first side panel, wherein
- the at least one first display pattern defines at least one first side display panel in the first side panel and at least one first top display panel in the top panel, and wherein
- the at least one first side display panel is at least partially separable from the first side panel along the at least one first display pattern, and the at least one first top display panel is at least partially separable from the top panel along the at least one first display pattern.

- a top panel;
- a first side panel adjacent to a first side of the top panel;
- a second side panel adjacent to a second side of the top panel;
- a bottom panel adjacent to the first and second side panels;
- a first end panel at a first end of the carton;
- a second end panel at a second end of the carton;

- at least one first display pattern extending through at least the top panel and the first side panel, wherein
- the at least one first display pattern defines at least one first display panel that is at least partially separable from a remainder of the carton along the at least one first display pattern to form at least one first display receptacle so that the at least one first display panel extends into an interior of the carton and defines a support surface of the at least one first display receptacle.

- providing a carton having top panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, a bottom panel, a first end panel, a second end panel, and at least one display pattern;
- breaching the at least one display pattern to form at least one display receptacle;

- mounting an article in the display receptacle.

- providing a carton, the carton comprising:

- a second end panel at a second end of the carton;

- at least one first display pattern extending through at least the top panel and the first side panel, wherein the at least one first display pattern defines at least two foldably connected first display panels;
- breaching the at least one first display pattern to form at least one first display receptacle;
- and
- mounting an article in the at least one display receptacle, wherein the article is supported on at least one of the at least two first display panels.
