Abstract
In one embodiment, a method for transferring web browser data between web browsers includes collecting browser data pertaining to a first web browser, packaging the browser data into an intermediate format, and storing the packaged data for a subsequent import into a second web browser.

A method comprising:
- collecting browser data pertaining to a first web browser;
- packaging the browser data into an intermediate format;
- and
- storing the packaged data for a subsequent import onto a second web browser.

- accessing stored browser data pertaining to a first web browser, the stored browser data being in an intermediate format;
- and
- importing the stored browser data onto a second web browser.
An apparatus comprising:
- means for collecting browser data pertaining to a first web browser;
- means for packaging the browser data into an intermediate format;

- means for storing the packaged data for a subsequent import onto a second web browser.

- means for accessing stored browser data pertaining to a first web browser, the stored browser data being in an intermediate format;

- means for importing the stored browser data onto a second web browser

- an exporter to collect browser data pertaining to a first web browser, and to package the browser data into an intermediate format;

- an importer to retrieve the stored browser data, and to import the stored browser data onto a second web browser

- a data store to store the packaged data;

- an importer to retrieve the packaged data from the data store, and to import the stored data onto a second web browser.
A computer readable medium comprising instructions, which when executed on a processing system, cause the processing system to perform a method comprising:
- collecting browser data pertaining to a first web browser;
- packaging the browser data into an intermediate format;
- and
- storing the packaged data for a subsequent import onto a second web browser.
A computer readable medium comprising instructions, which when executed on a processing system, cause the processing system to perform a method comprising:
- accessing stored browser data pertaining to a first web browser, the stored browser data being in an intermediate format;
- and
- importing the stored browser data onto a second web browser.
