Abstract
An enhancement filter for an oscilloscope is disclosed wherein the enhacement filter may be initially calibrated for one or more channels and/or for one or more attenuation settings such as 50 mV per division, 100 mV per division, and/or 200 mV per division, for example.
Claims47
An oscilloscope, comprising:
- a channel of said oscilloscope including analog and digital components;
- and
- an enhancement filter to enhance a response of said channel, said enhancement filter accounting for at least one or more attenuation settings of the oscilloscope.
A method to calibrate an oscilloscope, comprising:
- calculating an enhancement filter response based at least in part on a response of a channel of said oscilloscope and a selected filter response;
- and
- storing the enhancement filter response.
An article comprising a storage medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by a computing platform, result in calibration of an oscilloscope by:
- calculating an enhancement filter response based at least in part on a response of a channel of said oscilloscope and a selected filter response;
- and
- storing the enhancement filter response.
An oscilloscope, comprising:
- a channel of said oscilloscope including analog and digital components;
- and
- means for enhancing a response of said channel.
An apparatus, comprising:
- an oscilloscope having a response calibrated by:
- calculating an enhancement filter response based at least in part on a response of a channel of said oscilloscope and a selected filter response;
- and
- storing the enhancement filter response.
