Transmission rate control method, mobile station, and radio base station

A mobile station for transmitting uplink user data, comprising:

• a transmission wave amplitude ratio correspondence receiver configured to receive a first correspondence of a transmission data block size of the uplink user data to a transmission wave amplitude ratio between an enhanced dedicated physical data channel and a dedicated physical control channel for the uplink user data;
• a transmission power ratio correspondence generator configured to generate a second correspondence of a transmission data block size of the uplink user data to a transmission power ratio between an enhanced dedicated physical data channel and a dedicated physical control channel for the uplink user data, base on the received first correspondence;
• and
• a transmission block size determiner configured to determine a transmission data block size of the uplink user data based on a transmission power ratio which is notified from a radio base station and the second correspondence.

A radio base station used in a transmission rate control method for controlling transmission rate of uplink user data, comprising:

• a transmission wave amplitude ratio correspondence receiver configured to receive, from a radio network controller, a first correspondence of a transmission data block size of uplink user data to a transmission wave amplitude ratio between an enhanced dedicated physical data channel and a dedicated physical control channel for the uplink user data;
• a transmission power ratio correspondence generator configured to generate a second correspondence of a transmission data block size of the uplink user data to a transmission power ratio between an enhanced dedicated physical data channel and a dedicated physical control channel for the uplink user data, based on the received first correspondence;
• a transmission power ratio notifier configured to notify the transmission power ratio to a mobile station;
• and
• an allocator configured to allocate a receive processing resource for the uplink user data, on the assumption that the mobile station determines a transmission data block size of the uplink user data based on the notified transmission power ratio and the second correspondence.
