Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide a recording material which contains at least a colorant and a resin wherein the colorant contains silver, and a toner which contains at least a colorant and a resin wherein the colorant is an alloy containing silver, zinc and aluminum.

A recording material comprising:
- a colorant, and
- a resin,
- wherein the colorant contains silver.
A toner comprising:
- a colorant, and
- a resin,
- wherein the colorant is an alloy containing silver, zinc and aluminum.
A liquid developer comprising:
- a colorant, and
- a resin,
- wherein the toner containing colorant which is an alloy having silver, zinc and aluminum is dispersed in a carrier liquid.
An image forming method comprising:
- developing by forming a thin layer of a liquid developer on a roller or a belt,
- wherein the liquid developer comprises a toner dispersed in a carrier liquid, and
- wherein the toner comprises at least a colorant and a resin and the colorant is an alloy having silver, zinc and aluminum.
