Abstract
Monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to ANGPTL4 are provided. Monoclonal antibodies that neutralize at least one activity of ANGPTL4 are provided. Methods of treating a disorder of lipid metabolism using neutralizing monoclonal antibodies are provided.

A monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to ANGPTL4 and neutralizes at least one activity of ANGPTL4.
An antibody that specifically binds to ANGPTL4, comprising a heavy chain and a light chain, wherein the heavy chain comprises:
- a) an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 12 to 14;
- b) at least one CDR comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 21, 39, and 20;
- or
- c) at least one CDR comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 27 to 29;
- wherein the antibody neutralizes at least one activity of ANGPTL4.
An antibody that specifically binds to ANGPTL4, comprising a heavy chain and a light chain, wherein the light chain comprises:
- a) an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 16 to 18;
- b) at least one CDR comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 30 to 32;
- or
- c) at least one CDR comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 33 to 35;
- wherein the antibody neutralizes at least one activity of ANGPTL4.
