Radio communication apparatus performing TFC selection processing in W-CDMA, and TFC selection method

A radio communication apparatus selecting one of a plurality of transport format combinations based on a radio frame, and transmitting said selected transport format combination based on the radio frame, and comprising:

• decision means deciding a transitional state of each transport format combination in regard to whether each transport format combination is transmittable in a first radio frame and a second radio frame having a different type from said first radio frame;
• and
• selection means selecting a transport format combination which is transmittable in the first radio frame when a radio frame to be used for transmitting the transport format combination is the first radio frame, on the basis of each transport format combination state corresponding to the first radio frame decided by the decision means, and selecting a transport format combination which is transmittable in the second radio frame when a radio frame to be used for transmitting the transport format combination is the second radio frame, on the basis of each transport format combination state corresponding to the second radio frame decided by the decision means.
