Abstract
In a drive (20A) for a disc-shaped optical data carrier (10) with a motherboard (14), on which electronic components for the control of drive functions are arranged, and with a data carrier drive motor (9) for rotating drive of the data carrier (10) and with an optical scanning unit (15) for scanning the data carrier (10), the motherboard (14) is designed or equipped for carrying the optical scanning unit (15) and furthermore the optical scanning unit (15) is held on the motherboard (14) with possibility of displacement.
Claims20
A drive (20A) for a disc-shaped optical data carrier (10) with a motherboard (14) on which motherboard (14) electronic components for the control of drive functions are arranged, and with a data carrier drive motor (9) for rotating driving of the data carrier (10), and with an optical scanning unit (15) for scanning the data carrier (10), wherein the motherboard (14) is provided for carrying the optical scanning unit (15) and wherein the optical scanning unit (15) is adjustably supported on the motherboard (14).
A method of carrying, guiding and displacing an optical scanning unit (15) in a drive (20A) for a disc-shaped optical data carrier (10), said drive (20A) comprising a motherboard (14) on which motherboard (14) electronic components for controlling drive functions are arranged, and a data carrier drive motor (9) for rotating driving of the data carrier (10) and the optical scanning unit (15) for scanning the data carrier (10), in which method the optical scanning unit (15) is carried by means of the motherboard (14) and the optical scanning unit (15) is adjusted on the motherboard (14) and is guided by means of the motherboard (14) in its motion of adjustment.
