Provided are a circuit board and a display device having the circuit board. The circuit board includes a first surface opposite to a second surface and a first and a second wire disposed on the first surface. The circuit board is attached substantially to one side of the display panel unit.

A circuit board for a display device having a display panel unit, the circuit board comprising:
- a first surface opposite to a second surface;
- and
- a first and a second wire disposed on the first surface,
- wherein the circuit board is attached substantially to one side of the display panel unit.

- a display panel unit;
- a circuit board attached substantially to one side of the display panel unit;
- a first wire and a second wire disposed on one surface of the circuit board, and
- a drive circuit chip for driving the display panel unit disposed on the display panel unit,
