Abstract
A battery module includes a plurality of unit batteries and a coupling unit for coupling the cases of adjacent unit batteries to each other. The coupling unit includes coupling members formed on an outer surface of a case of each unit battery.

A battery module comprising a plurality of unit batteries, each of the unit batteries having a unit battery case containing an electrode assembly, and a coupling unit being formed on an outer surface of each unit battery case, the coupling unit coupling the cases of adjacent unit batteries of the plurality of unit batteries to each other.
