An electrooptical apparatus comprising:
- a light emission element array in which a plurality of light emission elements are arranged;
- and
- a barrier rib which surrounds the light emission element array.
A method of manufacturing an electrooptical apparatus comprising:
- forming a plurality of pixel electrodes;
- forming a barrier rib which surrounds the whole of the plurality of pixel electrodes;
- and
- forming a function layer in a region surrounded by the barrier rib.
