Abstract
A method for producing a metal powder product involves: Providing a supply of a precursor metal powder; combining the precursor metal powder with a liquid to form a slurry; feeding the slurry into a pulsating stream of hot gas; and recovering the metal powder product.

A method for producing a metal powder product, comprising:
- providing a supply of a precursor metal powder;
- combining said precursor metal powder with a liquid to form a slurry;
- feeding said slurry into a pulsating stream of hot gas;
- and
- recovering the metal powder product.

A metal powder product, comprising a Hall flowability of less than about 30 seconds for 50 grams.
A system for the production of a metal powder product, comprising:
- means for forming a metal powder slurry;
- a pulse combustion system, said pulse combustion system producing a pulsating stream of hot gases;
- a feed system operatively associated with said pulse combustion system and said means for forming a metal powder slurry, said feed system receiving the metal powder slurry and injecting said metal powder slurry into the pulsating stream of hot gases;
- and
- a recovery system operatively associated with said pulse combustion system, said recovery system receiving a metal powder product.
