Electronic endoscope apparatus

An electronic endoscope apparatus constituted of an electronic endoscope, for obtaining an image of an observation area of a subject, and a processor, said electronic endoscope transmitting data of said image to said processor via radio waves, said electronic endoscope apparatus comprising:

• said electronic endoscope including:
• a first channel detection section for detecting an available channel from plural channels previously allocated to each of plural transmission frequency bands of said radio waves;
• and
• a transmission frequency band switching section for automatically switching between said transmission frequency bands according to a detection result of said first channel detection section;
• said processor including:
• a second channel detection section for detecting an available channel from plural channels previously allocated to each of plural reception frequency bands of said radio waves, and
• a reception frequency band switching section for automatically switching between said reception frequency bands according to a detection result of said second channel detection section.
