Abstract
A process for the preparation of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes where cationic cure is conducted against liners and substrates with low moisture content and in an environment where moisture ingress during cure is prevented.
Claims20
A pressure sensitive adhesive article prepared by a process comprising coating a cationic curable adhesive onto a substrate having a moisture content of less than about 5%, initiating cure, and maintaining the moisture content of the coated substrate at a level of less than about 5% until the adhesive is substantially fully cured.
A pressure sensitive adhesive article prepared by a process comprising coating a cationic curable adhesive onto a paper substrate having a moisture content of less than about 5%, initiating cure, and maintaining the moisture content of the coated substrate at a level of less than about 5% until the adhesive is substantially fully cured.
