Abstract
An apparatus, which provides status information on a status of a target device to a network management system, includes: a request unit that requests the target device to output the status information; and a converting unit that converts a format of the status information output from the target device to another format which can be managed by the network management system.

A computer-readable recording medium that stores a computer program that causes a computer that provides status information on a status of a target device to a network management system to execute:
- requesting the target device to output the status information;
- and
- converting a format of the status information output from the target device to another format which can be managed by the network management system.
An apparatus that provides status information on a status of a target device to a network management system, the apparatus comprising:
- a request unit that requests the target device to output the status information;
