Electrophoretic device, method of manufacturing the same, and electronic apparatus

An electrophoretic device, comprising:

• a first substrate;
• a second substrate;
• a barrier wall layer formed between the first substrate and the second substrate, the barrier wall layer including a plurality of spaces, the plurality of spaces including a first space and a second space, the first space and the second space being communicated with each other;
• and
• a liquid material that contains charged particles, the liquid material being disposed in the first space and the second space.

A method of manufacturing an electrophoretic device, comprising:

• forming a photoresist over a first substrate;
• forming a barrier wall layer having a plurality of rows, each of the rows including a plurality of spaces, the plurality of spaces being communicated to form the each of the rows;
• disposing the second substrate over the barrier wall layer, the second substrate being bonded to the first substrate via the barrier wall layer;
• and
• introducing a liquid material into a plurality of spaces of the barrier wall layer, the liquid material containing charged particles.

A method of manufacturing an electrophoretic device, comprising:

• forming a photoresist over a first substrate;
• patterning the photoresist to form a barrier wall layer having a plurality of rows, each of the rows including a plurality of spaces, the plurality of spaces being communicated to form the each of the rows;
• introducing a liquid material into the plurality of spaces of the barrier wall layer, the liquid material including charged particles;
• and
• disposing the second substrate over the barrier wall layer, the second substrate being bonded to the first substrate via the barrier wall layer.
