Abstract
The present application relates to a printing system, comprising a color printer, which can distinguish an authorized user who can make color prints and an unauthorized user who can make only monochrome prints, but not color printers.
Claims11
A color and monochrome management printing system, comprising:
- a storing section that stores reference information,
- an input section that inputs user information,
- an authorizing section that compares the user information input by the input section with the reference information stored in the storing section,
- a print section that makes a color print and a monochrome print,
- wherein if the authorizing section judges that the user information is the information of the authorized user as a result of comparing the user information with the reference information, the authorizing section allows the print section to make both of the color print and the monochrome print, and
- wherein if the authorizing section judges that the user information is the information of the unauthorized user as a result of comparing the user information with the reference information, the authorizing section allows the print section to make only the monochrome print, but not the color print.
