Abstract
A method for providing access to dealer data stored in a dealer management system comprises entering into a service agreement with a customer interested in access to current dealer data. The method continues by arranging for the dealer data to be remotely collected from the dealer management system and stored in a remote facility using a public network. The method concludes by permitting the customer to access the remote facility to retrieve the stored dealer data.

A method for providing access to dealer data stored in a dealer management system, comprising:
- entering into a service agreement with a customer interested in access to current dealer data;
- arranging for the dealer data to be remotely collected from the dealer management system and stored in a remote facility using a public network;
- and
- permitting the customer to access the remote facility to retrieve the stored dealer data.
