Abstract
Provision of a database access method allowing an open environment such as a Web system to access a main database constituted by a hierarchical database. A system for accessing a hierarchical database, including a storage section for storing schema information related to the hierarchical database converted to tree-structured data, and an access request generating section for generating a second access request to the hierarchical database based on the schema information converted to the tree-structured data corresponding to a first access request.

A system for accessing a hierarchical database, comprising:
- a storage section that stores schema information related to said hierarchical database converted to tree-structured data;
- and
- an access request generating section that generates a second access request for said hierarchical database based on said schema information converted to said tree-structured data corresponding to a first access request.
A database access method of accessing a hierarchical database, comprising:
- a storage step of storing schema information related to said hierarchical database converted to tree-structured data;
- and
- an access request generating step of generating a second access request for said hierarchical database based on said schema information converted to said tree-structured data corresponding to a first access request.
A computer program for realizing a function to access a hierarchical database, comprising:
- a storage function capable of storing schema information related to said hierarchical database converted to tree-structured data;
- and
- an access request generating function capable of generating a second access request for said hierarchical database based on said schema information converted to said tree-structured data corresponding to a first access request.
