Abstract
The invention provides methods and compositions for treating or preventing neurological disorders.
Claims54
A composition comprising:
- (a) an NMDA receptor antagonist;
- (b) a second agent, wherein said second agent is an levodopa/carbidopa, wherein said second agent is provided in an immediate release form;
- and
- (c) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A method of preventing or treating a CNS-related disorder comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of:
- (a) an NMDA receptor antagonist;
- and
- (b) a second agent that is levodopa/carbidopa, wherein said second agent is provided in an immediate release form.
A method of treating, preventing or reducing a CNS-related condition comprising administering to a subject at risk of having or having said condition a composition comprising an NMDA receptor antagonist provided in an extended release dosage form and a second agent, wherein said second agent is an levodopa/carbidopa, wherein said composition is administered at a substantially identical daily dose.
