A pharmacologically compatible metal salt of a pyridin-2-ylmethylsulphinyl-1H-benzimidazole with H+/K+-ATPase-inhibitory activity, in which at least one positive charge equivalent of a metal ion is counterbalanced by a hydroxyl ion, or a hydrate thereof.
