Abstract

A method and apparatus of outputting schedule information based on the location of a mobile communication terminal is provided. The method includes the steps of: registering, in response to a user's request, at least one piece of location information for determining whether to inform of schedule information based on the location of the mobile communication terminal, and schedule information corresponding to the location information; detecting current location information of the mobile communication terminal; if the current location of the mobile communication terminal is detected, determining whether to output schedule information corresponding to the location based on the registered location information; and selectively outputting schedule information according to the determination result. Accordingly, the user's convenience increases by informing the user of registered schedule information based on the location of a mobile communication terminal.
