Abstract
An organic photoreceptor, comprising a conductive support, an intermediate layer provided on the conductive support, having a thickness of 6 to 25 μm and containing inorganic particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 5 to 200 μm; and a photosensitive layer provided on the intermediate layer and having a thickness of 8 to 18 μm, wherein the thickness of the intermediate layer is larger than that of the photosensitive layer.
Claims20
An organic photoreceptor, comprising:
- a conductive support,
- an intermediate layer provided on the conductive support, having a thickness of 6 to 25 μm and containing inorganic particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 5 to 200 μm;
- and
- a photosensitive layer provided on the intermediate layer and having a thickness of 8 to 18 μm,
- wherein the thickness of the intermediate layer is larger than that of the photosensitive layer.
An organic photoreceptor for use in an image forming apparatus comprising a charging device to charge uniformly the organic photoreceptor, an exposing device to form an electrostatic latent image with an imagewise exposing light source to emit a beam having a wavelength of 350 to 500 nm, and a developing device to visualize the electrostatic latent image to a toner image, the organic photoreceptor comprising:
- a conductive support,
- an intermediate layer provided on the conductive support, having a thickness of 6 to 25 μm and containing inorganic particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 5 to 200 μm;
- and
- a photosensitive layer provided on the intermediate layer and having a thickness of 8 to 18 μm,
- wherein the thickness of the intermediate layer is larger than that of the photosensitive layer, and wherein the photosensitive layer comprises a carrier generating material which is sensitive to at least the wavelength of the beam.
