Abstract
The present invention relates to the discovery of a transdermal delivery system that can deliver high molecular weight pharmaceuticals and cosmetic agents to skin cells. A novel transdermal delivery system with therapeutic and cosmetic application and methods of use of the foregoing is disclosed.
Claims2
A transdermal delivery system comprising:
- an ethoxylated oil;
- and
- a delivered agent mixed with said ethoxylated oil, wherein said ethoxylated oil contains between 10 and 19 ethoxylations/molecule.
A transdermal delivery system comprising:
- an ethoxylated fatty acid, ethoxylated fatty alcohol, or ethoxylated fatty amine;
- and
- a delivered agent mixed with said ethoxylated fatty acid, ethoxylated fatty alcohol, or ethoxylated fatty amine, wherein said ethoxylated fatty acid, ethoxylated fatty alcohol, or ethoxylated fatty amine contains between 10 and 19 ethoxylations/molecule.
