Abstract
The invention relates to a wind turbine having rotating means including at least two wind turbine blades which are turnable around the longitudinal axis of said blades, and a wind turbine hub connecting said at least two wind turbine blades with at least one shaft. Further, the wind turbine includes hydraulic means for actuating said at least two wind turbine blades, said hydraulic means being incorporated in said rotating means. The invention also relates to a hydraulic system, an air bleed system and a method of controlling at least two wind turbine blades.
Claims24
Wind turbine comprising
- rotating means including
- at least two wind turbine blades which are turnable around a longitudinal axis of said blades, and a wind turbine hub connecting said at least two wind turbine blades with at least one shaft,
- hydraulic system for actuating said at least two wind turbine blades,
- said hydraulic system being incorporated in said rotating means and positioned in relation to a rotation center line of said rotating means.
Hydraulic system for controlling rotating means including at least two wind turbine blades, said system comprising:
- a hydraulic tank,
- at least one hydraulic pump,
- at least two hydraulic actuators actuating said at least two wind turbine blades around a longitudinal axis of said blades,
- said at least one hydraulic pump pumping hydraulic oil from said hydraulic tank to said least two hydraulic actuators, and
- wherein said hydraulic system is incorporated in the rotating means of said wind turbine and is positioned in relation to a rotation center line.
Air bleed system for hydraulic systems which is incorporated in rotating means, said air bleed system comprising.
- an air bleed tube positioned at a rotation center line of said hydraulic system and pivotally connected to said hydraulic systems,
- an air bleed pipe positioned within said hydraulic system and with an air intake away from said center line,
- a weight block with a weight-plumbing bar positioned outside said hydraulic system,
- said air bleed pipe and weight block each being connected to said air bleed tube, and
- said air bleed pipe being connected to said weight block in a fixed connection.
Method of controlling a hydraulic system in order to turn at least two wind turbine blades around a longitudinal axis of said blades in a wind turbine, said method comprising:
- pumping hydraulic oil from at least one hydraulic tank to at least one hydraulic actuator by at least one pump,
- actuating at least one pitch mechanism turning said wind turbine blades by said hydraulic actuators,
- returning said hydraulic oil to said at least one hydraulic tank
- wherein said hydraulic system is incorporated in the rotating means of said wind turbine and is positioned in relation to a rotating center line.
