Method and system for transmitting telegrams

A system for transmitting telegrams, comprising:

• at least one first communication device for sending a telegram;
• and
• at least one second communication device for receiving the telegram, the telegram having a check value determined from a part of user data included in the telegram, wherein
• the first communication device comprises a first telegram counter for assigning a count value to the telegram according to a transmission sequence,
• the count value is included in the part of user data and is configured to determine the check value,
• the part of user data includes information signaling a change of the count value when the telegram is transmitted,
• the second communication device comprises a second telegram counter, and
• a synchronizing unit for synchronizing the first and second telegram counter.

A method for transmitting a telegram between first and second communication devices, comprising:

• determining a check value from a part of user data included in the telegram;
• assigning a count value to the telegram by a first telegram counter included in the first communication device based on a transmission sequence, the count value configured to determine the check value and included in the part of user data;
• transmitting information signaling a change of the count value, the information included in the part of user data;
• and
• synchronizing a second telegram counter included in the second communication device with the first telegram counter.
