Abstract
According to one embodiment, a storage medium in which address information is recorded by means of wobbling and which includes a modulation area in which address information is recorded, and a non-modulation area in which the address information is not recorded, wherein a total length of the non-modulation area is greater than a total length of the modulation area.
Claims3
A storage medium in which address information is recorded by means of wobbling, the storage medium comprising:
- a modulation area in which address information is recorded;
- and
- a non-modulation area in which the address information is not recorded,
- wherein a total length of the non-modulation area is greater than a total length of the modulation area.
A method for reproducing information from a storage medium which has a modulation area in which address information is recorded and a non-modulation area in which the address information is not recorded, and in which a total length of the non-modulation area is greater than a total length of the modulation area, the method comprising:
- irradiating the storage medium with a laser light beam;
- and
- reproducing the information based on a reflection light beam of the laser light beam.
A method for recording information in a storage medium which has a modulation area in which address information is recorded and a non-modulation area in which the address information is not recorded, and in which a total length of the non-modulation area is greater than a total length of the modulation area, the method comprising:
- irradiating the storage medium with a laser light beam;
- and
- recording the information based on the irradiated laser light beam.
