Motor vehicle roof, comprising:
- a roof plate that has a transparent plastic area with a molded-on, downwardly extending peripheral plastic edge;
- and wherein the roof plate has a nontransparent area with a holding frame for a functional element molded onto an underside thereof.
Motor vehicle roof with a plastic roof plate which covers a roof surface between roof side members, wherein the roof plate has a nontransparent area with a holding frame for a functional element molded onto a bottom thereof.
