Filter flushing system and adapter

A filter and a filter flushing adapter system comprising:

• a filter device having a first opening comprising an inlet and a second opening comprising an outlet, with a filter medium positioned between said inlet and said outlet,
• a filter flushing adapter with a body having
• a first open end leading to an interior passage of said body,
• a second open end arranged to receive said filter device and leading to said interior passage, and
• an overflow outlet, positioned between said first open end and said second open end and positioned and oriented to align with said filter device outlet, communicating between said interior passage of said body and an exterior of said body.

A filter flushing adapter comprising:

• a body having
• a first open end leading to an interior passage of said body,
• a second open end leading to said interior passage,
• an overflow outlet positioned between said first open end and said second open end communicating between said interior passage of said body and an exterior of said body,
• an axis of said first open end being displaced by approximately 45 degrees from an axis of said second open end, and
• an axis of said overflow outlet being displaced by approximately 70 degrees from an axis of said second open end.
