Abstract
In the proposed station for connecting a first line for conveying items with a second line for transferring the items, in particular for feeding a packaging machine, a storage container are situated near the lines for receiving items coming from the first conveying line. A manipulator moves the items between the lines and the storage container.

A station for connecting a first line for conveying items with a second line for transferring the same items to a packaging machine, with the lines having initial respective sections and terminal sections and being arranged angularly with respect to each other and operated in respective feeding directions;
- the station including:
- storage means, situated near the terminal section of the first line and the initial section of the second line for receiving items coming from said first conveying line;
- manipulating means operated in step relation with operation of said lines for picking up items at the terminal section of said first line and to release the picked up items at the initial section of said second line, or within said storage means;
- said manipulating means also being provided for picking up items from said storage means and releasing them at the initial section of said second line.
