Abstract
A computerized method for processing investment data includes providing a server supporting a database for receiving, processing and storing investment data which includes compensation data; providing a compensation rules engine for processing compensation data employing rules relating to compensation; introducing into the server investment data from a plurality of external sources, processing the compensation data by the compensation rules engine and permitting user access to the processed and stored investment data. Information regarding sales units, customer investments, client information and investment transaction information is provided in the server. A corresponding system is disclosed.

A computerized method of processing investment data to determine compensation for a sales unit comprising
- providing a server supporting a database for receiving, processing and storing investment data,
- providing compensation rules related to compensation determination,
- introducing investment data into said server, and
- employing a rules engine to apply said compensation rules to said investment data in determining compensation.
The computerized method of processing investment data to determine compensation for a sales unit of claim 20 including
- storing in said server investment data regarding sales units.
A computerized system for processing investment data to determine compensation for a sales unit comprising
- a server for receiving, processing, storing and delivering investment data,
- an external data interface in communication with said server for receiving investment data from a plurality of external sources and delivering the same with or without processing to said server,
- a user interface for permitting user access to said server,
- a rules engine operatively associated with said server for applying compensation rules to said investment data, and
- said server and said compensation rules being structured to permit compensation determinations for investment transactions and asset holdings.
