Abstract
Methods, systems, and computer program products are disclosed for participating in an online ecosystem. This online ecosystem represents an interrelated community of merchants. When a merchant participates in this online community of merchants, each merchant shares sales information (such as a sales price and a sale quantity) with the online community. That is, each merchant is informed of each sale of every merchant participating in the community. Each merchant, then, knows the commercial activity of the entire ecosystem.

A method of participating in an online ecosystem, comprising the steps of:
- participating in an online community of merchants, each merchant selling a good or service;
- and
- sharing sales information with the online community such that each merchant is informed of each sale of every merchant participating in the community.
A system for participating in an online ecosystem, the system comprising:
- a module stored in a memory device, and a processor communicating with the memory device;
- the module participating in a sale of a good or service in an online community of merchants, each merchant selling the good or service via a single web portal providing access to the online community of merchants, the module sharing sales information with the online community such that each merchant is informed of each sale of every merchant participating in the community.
A computer program product for participating in an online ecosystem, the computer program product comprising a computer readable medium including instructions for performing the steps:
- participating in a sale of a good or service in an online community of merchants, each merchant selling the good or service via a single web portal providing access to the online community of merchants;
- and
- sharing sales information with the online community such that each merchant is informed of each sale of every merchant participating in the community.
