Abstract
A method, article of manufacture and apparatus for transferring image data is described. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving a request to a print data corresponding to an image, displaying a user interface to enable identification of patient information corresponding to the image data, formatting the image data into a format, and sending formatted image data with the patient information to a medical imaging device.

A method comprising:
- receiving a request to a print data corresponding to an image;
- displaying a user interface to enable identification of patient information corresponding to the image data;
- formatting the image data into a format;
- and
- sending formatted image data with the patient information to a medical imaging system.

- receiving a request to a print data corresponding to an image;

- receiving at least one input specifying the patient information in the user interface;
