A computerized system for managing healthcare personnel data elements for a healthcare professional, the system comprising:

• a receiving component operative to receive a first healthcare personnel data element for a healthcare professional from a first primary source provider and a second healthcare personnel data element for the healthcare professional from a second primary source provider;
• an associating component operative to associate the first and second healthcare personnel data elements with a profile for the healthcare professional, wherein the profile is a repository for a plurality of healthcare personnel data elements for the healthcare professional and may be continuously updated with current healthcare personnel data elements;
• and
• a storage component operative to store the first and second healthcare personnel data elements in the profile.

A system for managing healthcare personnel data, the system comprising:

• a network;
• a plurality of primary source providers providing healthcare personnel data for at least one healthcare professional;
• and
• a personnel profile manager communicating with the plurality of primary source providers via the network to receive and store the healthcare personnel data for the at least one healthcare professional.

A method for managing healthcare personnel data for a healthcare professional, the method comprising:

• receiving a first healthcare personnel data element for a healthcare professional from an entity;
• associating and storing the first healthcare personnel data element in a profile for the healthcare professional;
• receiving a request for a second healthcare personnel data element for the healthcare professional from the entity;
• and
• sending the requested second healthcare personnel data element to the entity.
