Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of substances with oxytocin activity against climacteric disorders or similar symptoms due to dysfunction in the ovaries. It also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one substance with oxytocin activity against climacteric disorders.

A method for treating a subject with a climacteric disorder selected from the group consisting of weight changes, mood swings, hot flushes, dry and ulcerous membranes, fissures, and bone loss, comprising administering a composition with an effective amount of a substance having oxytocin activity to said subject in need thereof.
