Abstract
One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that determines a proximity correction for an integrated circuit layout. During operation, the system receives a layout. Next, the system receives an evaluation point within the layout. The system then determines a visible area associated with the evaluation point. Next, the system determines a proximity correction using the visible area.
Claims20
A method for determining a proximity correction, the method comprising:
- receiving a layout;
- receiving an evaluation point within the layout;
- determining a visible area associated with the evaluation point;
- and
- determining a proximity correction using the visible area.
A computer-readable storage-medium storing instructions that when executed by a computer cause the computer to perform a method for determining a proximity correction, the method comprising:
- receiving a layout;
- receiving an evaluation point within the layout;
- determining a visible area associated with the evaluation point;
- and
- determining a proximity correction using the visible area.
A method for determining a proximity correction, the method comprising:
- receiving a pixel-map layout;
- receiving a location of an evaluation pixel within the pixel-map layout;
- determining a visible area using the location of the evaluation pixel;
- and
- determining a proximity correction using the visible area.
A computer-readable storage-medium storing instructions that when executed by a computer cause the computer to perform a method for determining a proximity correction, the method comprising:
- receiving a pixel-map layout;
- receiving a location of an evaluation pixel within the pixel-map layout;
- determining a visible area using the location of the evaluation pixel;
- and
- determining a proximity correction using the visible area.
