Abstract
A sanitary napkin includes a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid and a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body. The projection is secured at laterally spaced base ends to the body surface of the napkin body. A distance between the base ends varies longitudinally of the projection. A height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body decreases with increasing the distance between the base ends.
Claims22
A sanitary napkin comprising:
- a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid;
- and
- a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body,
- wherein the projection is secured at laterally spaced base ends to the body surface of the napkin body, a distance between the base ends varies longitudinally of the projection, and a height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body decreases with increasing the distance between the base ends.
A sanitary napkin comprising:
- a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid;
- and
- a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body,
- wherein the projection having a first portion which is secured at laterally spaced base ends to the body surface of the napkin body and a second portion which is separate from the body surface of the napkin body, and a height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body is larger in the second portion than in the first portion.
A sanitary napkin comprising:
- a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid;
- and
- a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body with elastic members adapted to exert a longitudinal elastic contractive force for rising of the projection,
- wherein the elastic members are laterally spaced, a distance between the elastic members varies longitudinally of the projection, and a height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body decreases with increasing the distance between the elastic members.
A sanitary napkin comprising:
- a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid;
- and
- a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body with elastic members adapted to exert a longitudinal elastic contractive force for rising of the projection,
- wherein the projection having a first portion where two elastic members are laterally spaced and a second portion where one elastic member extends along a longitudinal centerline of the napkin body, and a height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body is larger in the second portion than in the first portion.
