Abstract
An endoscope system includes a processor. The processor is physically connectable to different endoscopes to receive and process signals from an endoscope that is selectively physically connected to the processor. The processor includes a database that stores pieces of endoscope data each corresponding to a different endoscope. Each piece of endoscope data is associated with ownership information. The pieces of endoscope data indicate whether usage of a physically connected endoscope is authorized. The ownership information indicates a term for which the physically connected endoscope is allowed to be utilized. An output outputs the ownership information.
Claims13
An endoscope system comprising:
- a processor configured to be physically connected to each of a plurality of different endoscopes to receive and process signals from an endoscope that is selectively physically connected to said processor, said processor including a database that stores a plurality of pieces of endoscope data each corresponding to a different endoscope, each piece of endoscope data being associated with ownership information, said pieces of endoscope data indicating whether usage of a physically connected endoscope is authorized and said ownership information indicating a term for which said physically connected endoscope is allowed to be utilized;
- and
- an output configured to output said ownership information.
An endoscope system comprising:
- a processor configured to be physically connected to each of a plurality of different endoscopes to receive and process signals from an endoscope that is selectively physically connected to said processor, said processor including a database that stores a plurality of pieces of endoscope data each corresponding to a different endoscope, said pieces of endoscope data indicating whether usage of a physically connected endoscope is authorized and each piece of said endoscope data being associated with specification information indicating design specifications of said physically connected endoscope;
- and
- an output configured to output said specification information.
