Abstract
This invention relates to novel furancarboxamides of the formula (I) in which R, R1 and m are as defined in the disclosure, to a plurality of processes for preparing these substances and to their use for controlling unwanted micro-organisms.

A furancarboxamide of formula (I)
- in which
- R1 represents fluorine,
- m represents 0, 1, or 2,
- R represents one of the groups
- R2 represents halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C8-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C8-alkythio, C1-C6-haloalkyl, C1-C6-haloalkoxy or C1-C6-haloalkylthio, each halo-containing group having 1 to 13 fluorine, chlorine, and/or bromine atoms,
- R3 and R4 independently of one another represent halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C8-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C8-alkylthio, C1-C6-haloalkyl, C1-C6-haloalkoxy, or C1-C6-haloalkylthio, each halo-containing group having 1 to 13 fluorine, chlorine, and/or bromine atoms,
- n represents 3, 4, or 5, and
- R5 represents identical or different radicals selected from the group consisting of halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C8-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C8-alkylthio, C1-C6-halo-alkyl, C1-C6-haloalkoxy, or C1-C6-haloalkylthio, each halo-containing group having 1 to 13 fluorine, chlorine, and/or bromine atoms.
