Abstract
The present invention provides a production method of a preparation coated with pioglitazone hydrochloride, which is useful as a therapeutic agent for diabetes and the like, and which is superior in the characteristics of the preparation such as dissolution property of pioglitazone hydrochloride.

A production method of a coated preparation, which comprises coating with an aqueous dispersion of pioglitazone hydrochloride comprising a coating material having a low viscosity.
A method for improving dissolution of pioglitazone hydrochloride from a preparation coated with pioglitazone hydrochloride, which comprises, when producing said preparation, coating with an aqueous dispersion of pioglitazone hydrochloride comprising a coating material having a low viscosity.
