A method of forming a snack food product, which comprises:
- partially scrambling eggs,
- mixing at least one food grade binder with the partially scrambled eggs,
- fully cooking the scrambled eggs,
- shaping the fully-cooked scrambled eggs, and
- battering the shaped scrambled eggs.
