Abstract
A novel tumor antigen protein and gene therefor, tumor antigen peptides derived from said tumor antigen protein or derivatives thereof as well as medicaments, prophylactics, or diagnostics for tumors using such tumor substances in vitro or in vitro are provided.
Claims15
A method for treating tumors, which comprises administering a tumor antigen protein selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a protein comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and
- (b) a protein that is encoded by a polynucleotide which hybridizes with a polynucleotide comprising the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 under stringent hybridization conditions comprising 6×SSC, 50% formamide, and 0.5% SDS and a temperature of 42° C.,
- wherein said protein of (a) and (b) give rise to tumor antigen peptide(s) that bind(s) to an HLA antigen and are recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
2 more elements
A tumor antigen peptide that is a partial peptide of a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and that binds to an HLA antigen and is recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
