Abstract
The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies which recognize the chain of the HFG receptor with the agonist activity of the natural ligand. The invention also relates to the hybridoma which secretes said antibodies and to their therapeutic and diagnostic use.

A monoclonal antibody specific for the Hepatocyte Growth Factor receptor (HGF-R), wherein said monoclonal antibody recognizes an epitope on the extracellular domain of the β chain of the HGF receptor and wherein said epitope is the same as that recognized by antibody produced by the hybridoma deposited with ICLC number 03001 at the CBA in Genoa.
A monoclonal antibody produced by the hybridoma deposited with ICLC number PD 03001 at the CBA in Genoa.
A hybridoma cell line deposited with ICLC number PD 03001 at the CBA in Genoa.
