Scroll-type compressor assembly means

An assembly device for a scroll-type compressor comprising:

• a) a frame having:
• i) a bottom protrusion extending downwardly from a bottom thereof;
• and
• ii) at least one positioning post extending upwardly from a top thereof, each of the at least one positioning post having at least one positioning hole extending through the at least one positioning post and having a bottom portion extending into the bottom protrusion, the at least one positioning hole having a locking device located in the bottom protrusion;
• b) a retaining element securing a stationary scroll of the scroll-type compressor in a predetermined position;
• and
• c) a positioning element inserted through the retaining element and into each of the at least one positioning hole, the positioning element having a first end locking the retaining element to the frame and a second end connected to the locking device of one of the at least one positioning hole,
• wherein, in the predetermined position, the stationary scroll is spaced apart from each of the at least one positioning post.
